September 20, 2008 Participated in "Global Village Day" at South Arm park in Richmond to raise money for victims of the Szechuan Earthquake in China, as well as those less fortunate living in Sudan and the Philippines.
September 12 - 14, 2008 Scouts and Venturers participated in a 3 day Deep Sea Expedition to qualify for Expedition requirements for Chief Scout Award, Queen's Venturer Award and DEA.
August 16 & 18, 2008 Volunteered at the Richmond Maritime Festival at Britannia Heritage Shipyard in Steveston.

June 22, 2008 4 Sea Scouts received the Chief Scout Award, 4 Rover received the Medal of the Maple, 2 Leaders received the Good Service Medal, 2 Leaders received a 10 year service award, and 1 Leader received the Silver Acorn at PCC's SAGM and awards ceremonies.

December 21, 2007 Sea Dragon Sea Scout Group Christmas Dinner party at Gala Seafood Restaurant in Richmond. Our Council Commissioner John Chow presented 3 of our leaders with the Commemorative Centennial Medal and 3 of our leaders with the Long Service Award.
November 26-December 2, 2007 The Sea Dragon Sea Scouts were intricately involved with Centennial Scouter Conference held at the Best Western Vancouver Airport Hotel & Convention Centre and Scouts Canada's AGM held at the Richmond Gateway Theatre. Months of preparation culminated to a week long international event involving Scouters from Canada, China, Japan, Korea, England, USA and other countries. Our group was responsible for the event's information and hosting service, transportation and security.
November 13, 2007 8 of our leaders and 3 youth received the Commemorative Centennial Medal at the Pacific Coast Council Semi-Annual General Meeting at Vancouver's Van Duesen Gardens.
November 3, 2007 10 Venturers received their Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award at Government House in Victoria.
October 13 & 14, 2007 Participated in Scouts Canada's annual Apple Day fundraiser at Yaohan Centre and Lansdowne Centre in Richmond.
October 2007 The Sea Dragon Sea Scouts played the Henderson Place Haunted House in Coquitlam every weekend during October.
September 28-30, 2007 Scouts and Venturers participated in a 3 day Deep Sea Expedition to qualify for Expedition requirements for Chief Scout Award, Queen's Venturer Award and DEA.

July 6-14, 2007 The Sea Dragon Sea Scouts attended the 2007 Pacific Jamboree at Camp Byng. We were responsible for the much acclaimed sailing program held at Porpoise Bay.

August 15-17, 2006 Our youth and leaders went on an Adventure Sailing Expedition on small Pirate sailboats around Bowen Island and Howe Sound.

May 13, 2006 Conducted the opening ceremonies for the Jericho Sailing Centre Open House and welcomed Vancouver Major Sam Sullivan to the complex.
